Victory Day  SOLD

Sire     Vivant

Dam    Everlasting Day

DOB     2 December 2011

This outstanding colt has top class jumping bloodlines and is definitely a top quality prospect for an ambitious rider.

He is by the top ranked jumping stallion Vivant (ranked the 5th best jumper stallion in the world by WBSFH rankings) who was successfully campaigned by Chris Chugg (including 19th at the World Equestrian Games and 4th in the World Cup Final in Geneva in 2010) until being sold in Europe in 2011.

Vivant’s sire, Fuego du Prelet by Jalisco B, is an Almé grandson. Jalisco is is the sire of the 1990 World Champion, Quito de Baussy, and the magnificent line founding stallion, Quidam de Revel, as well as the highly profiled sire, Paillon Rouge. Vivant’s dam's sire, Landino by Landgraf, comes from the same family that produced Carprilli. Hedjaz, found in the third generation, another French trademark stallion, is also the dam's sire of Otterongo who took the Vice European Champion title and fourth place in the Olympic Games in Athens under Ludo Philippaerts (BEL) as well as McLain Ward's Sapphire (USA) – one of the best mares in international show jumping for years.

The dam, Everlasting Day, is by the TB Brilliant Invader, the top ranked sire of eventers and showjumpers including Wendy Schaeffer’s Koyuna Sunshine, Koyuna Sun Storm, Koyuna Sun Dancer, ex World Champion Reddy Teddy (ridden by New Zealander Blyth Tait), and many others.  This mare has already produced several other super young horses including Faraday (currently owned by Sophie Warren) and Day of the Jackal (by Daley K) – see clip of Day of Jackal jumping:  [watch video]

Victory Day has a lovely temperament and outstanding movement.  This is definitely a prospect for a rider wanting a horse to take them to the top at an international level.
